Portfolio Governance Leader, IT PMO

We are actively seeking a seasoned program manager with extensive experience setting up and running IT portfolio management offices (PMO).
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years leading an IT PMO with at least US$ 20M of annual investments. Experience demonstrating excellence in strategic planning, team leadership, and successful project execution within the IT domain.
1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals, emphasizing the effective management of the IT project portfolio.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring each team member contributes to project success.
3. Portfolio Management: Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
4. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project and portfolio risks, employing effective risk management strategies to maintain project integrity.
5. Dependency Management: Identify and manage dependencies across the portfolio, ensuring seamless coordination between projects and preventing potential bottlenecks.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Establish clear and concise communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project and portfolio progress and addressing concerns promptly.
1. Minimum of 5 years leading an IT PMO with at least US$20M in annual investments
2. In-depth understanding of IT project and product management methodologies in addition to portfolio management best practices.
3. Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams to achieve project goals.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
5. Results-oriented mindset, consistently delivering successful project and portfolio outcomes.
6. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; PMP, Agile, Product Management.
Requisitos excluyentes
✅ Liderazgo estratégico y proactividad: este rol debe generar comunidad y marcar el rumbo.
✅ +5 años liderando una PMO de IT con al menos $20M en inversiones anuales, además de experiencia como Program, Project y/o Product Manager en empresas multinacionales.
✅ Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y relación: nivel de inglés C1 + (full professional).
✅ Conocimientos financieros: informes, planificación presupuestaria, análisis de costos y optimización de recursos.
✅ Experiencia en proyectos SAP y/o Salesforce.
✅ Certificaciones relevantes: PMP, Agile, Product Management. Idealmente, un MA/MBA.
✅ Sólida experiencia utilizando Jira y trayectoria gestionando proyectos de metodología ágil, preferentemente Scrum.
✅ Disponibilidad para viajar a EE.UU. de manera esporádica. Contar con visa vigente.
